The Somerset

.The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village is currently developing phase 7 (having postponed the development of smaller units in phase 3) due to the unusual demand of larger retirement homes in the later phases.

Although not complete, this is already one of the top ten Lifestyle & Retirement Villages in South Africa.

This development is the flagship development of the Westacre Group. The Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged (CPOA) not only manages the village but owns all the cottages which is sold on life right contracts to its residents on innovative financing structures (refer to CPOA website).

The development sets a new standard for retirement living with its view, bar, restaurant and chapel.  In addition it now has a recently completed 5 star Care Centre which caters for both residents and respite patients from outside the village.
